Any teacher will tell you that they’ll do anything to get through to their bored pupils.
Just ask Professor Clint Tuttle at the University of Texas.
At the end of the semester, Professor Tuttle wanted to give his hard-working university students a little parting gift in the form of Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’.
The Professor’s cover is renamed ‘Learn Excel’, a nerdy rendition singing about the difficulties of learning the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel.
The surprising thing is, he’s pretty good singer. The class goes on to join in on the singing – it’s actually pretty catchy.
His cover has jokes. It has usable, practical business lessons. It even uses “butt” instead of “ass,” so that children of all ages can delve deep into the wonders that are pivot tables.
Why can’t we have more British teachers like this? We’d all be geniuses. Or is genii?
