According to eye witnesses, that’s exactly what happened this week during a performance of ‘Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown’, starring Tamsin Greig.
Distracted cast members asked an usher to break up the amorous couple, as London’s Playhouse Theatre expressed they were “excruciatingly embarrassed” by the incident.
Theatre blogger West End Wilma told The Sun: “My jaw dropped. Never have I found myself unknowingly sat next to these types of shenanigans.”
Good use of ‘unknowingly’ there.
