Ronald McDonald is officially the worst boss in the fast food industry, according to a new poll.
McDonald’s employees rated their jobs lowest in a poll of restaurant and pub workers released by Glassdoor.
Among the chief complaints were low pay, poor management and long shifts according to the 7,000 McDonald’s workers who responded.
Similar complaints were made against Pret A Manger and Domino’s Pizza – who finished only marginally above McDonald’s – as employees complained about a lack of career progression within all three companies.
Meanwhile, sandwich chain Greggs was named as the highest-rated workplace, with Pizza Hut and (a cheeky) Nando’s filling out the remainder of the top three.
