Weird is this…
Meghan Markle got married over the weekend.
It was a pretty momentous day for her in general and a lot of things about her life are going to change pretty drastically.
One of those things is that she now has a title – the Duchess of Sussex and she now has her own coat of arms designed especially for her.
This it it.

Kensington Palace shared the coat of arms today saying that the design was both “personal and representative.”
They said: “The blue background of the shield represents the Pacific Ocean off the California coast, while the two golden rays across the shield are symbolic of the sunshine of The Duchess’s home state.
“Beneath the shield on the grass sits a collection of golden poppies, California’s state flower, and wintersweet, which grows at Kensington Palace.
“The Supporter relating to The Duchess of Sussex is a songbird with wings elevated as if flying and an open beak, which with the quill represents the power of communication.”
And that’s all lovely and all but yeah, we suppose we jus think the coat of arms looks a bit… angry.
That bird is not having a nice time. Probably because a big ol’ lion is roaring at it.
Either way, congrats Meghan, but don’t come near me with your shield any time soon.
