We’ve all been there, and by ‘there’ we mean a camp bed in the spare bedroom next to the ironing board.
At this time of year, most of us will be heading back to spend Christmas with the parents, in-laws or extended family – it’s what this time of year is all about.
But you’re a grown-up now and have probably moved out of your childhood home, which means that you can never quite be sure where exactly you’re going to end up sleeping. It could be nice, tidy bedroom, or it could be a pile of coats in the laundry room.
For the past few years, Rhodri Marsden (@rhodri on Twitter) has been collecting and retweeting people’s awkward, unusual and often bizarre sleeping arrangements when returning home for Christmas.
Here are a few of the weirdest and least-comfortable looking beds and ‘beds’ you’ve ever seen.
