With Android’s operating systems taking names like ‘Jelly Bean’ and ‘KitKat’, it was only a matter of time until a soft drinks company wanted some of that sweet, sweet sugar.
But rather than targeting the OS, Pepsi are trying to make their own phone.
According to the Mobipicker smartphone blog, the phone (whose working title is Pepsi P1) will launch this year in China and cost 1,299 Chinese Yuan (around £130).
So, time for the obvious question – will rivals Coca Cola come back with a device of their own? Maybe an iPad-style device called the TaBlet?
