Memphis Depay chose to poke fun at a newspaper report about him earlier in the week, which told the story of the Dutchman’s trip to the supermarket.
In case you missed the big news, Memphis bought water, toilet paper and some CapriSun on his shopping trip.
The Manchester United winger’s mocking tweet quickly racked up the retweets, something which drinks company CapriSun clearly appreciated.
Memphis sent a further tweet on Friday revealing that the company had sent him a few free packs of the stuff along with a thank you letter.
That’s one less thing on next week’s shopping list.
