The vast majority of us have struggled with fitting all of the items we want into our carry-on luggage in an effort to avoid airline baggage fees, but one man has provided an ingenious, if very uncomfortable, lesson on how to avoid doing so in future.
On a flight from Gatwick to Reykjavik recently, Matt Botten didn’t want to pay the £45 (approximately €57) he would have to fork out for an extra bag with easyJet so he came up with a solution.
He put on ALL of his clothes. That’s right, ALL of them.
Matt had to put up with a few extra questions at security because of his rather haggard manner, but he made it through and posted the following photo and celebratory message on Facebook afterwards.

Those of you considering doing likewise should take into account that it is a method that was tried by James McElvar of the band Rewind in the past – and James subsequently collapsed of heat exhaustion.
