Can I get through this week’s quiz intro without making the obvious joke? The answer, of course, is no. No I cannot.
It’s Wednesday. You’re officially over the hump. It’s time for the JOE alphabet quiz.
The format got temporarily altered last week whilst I was away, meaning we are now thoroughly discombobulated – the single best ‘D’ word there is – and only on the 4th letter of the alphabet in week 5.
Somehow, in a quiz that I myself am in charge of, I am late. I am a week late. I did not think it was possible but here we are. Thanks for sticking with me.
Right, ‘D’ is the letter and therefore I have to tread very, very carefully. We’ll keep this brief. I have questions for you on Donnie Darko, Denmark, a certain Brazilian goalkeeper and the Dakar Rally.
This week it’ll get gradually harder as we go. I hope it isn’t too long. The best thing to do is to start from the top and work your way down.
