Hole-some content…
British music icon Sir Rod Stewart has been helping to fill potholes in his local town of Harlow, Essex.
The 77-year-old can be seen singing as he works alongside labourers laying down fresh gravel to get the road in a more decent condition. As he mentions in the second video, “[his] Ferrari can’t go down here at all.”

The caption reads “Working for a living, filling holes is good for the soul!” and plenty on social media are loving seeing the celebrity.

TV presenter Jeremy Vine wrote, “Who else loves Rod Stewart?”
Others are simply in love with his casual clobber:

The “Maggie May” and “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” singer mentioned that people have been struggling to get down the road without doing damage to their cars, even noting that an ambulance had burst its tyre trying to rush down there recently.
While we can certainly applaud anyone helping out and doing a little bit of good in their local community, others have joked it’s the least he can do after having been a “tax exile” for the last few decades.

Stewart moved to Los Angeles in 1975 and lived there up until 2014, when he moved back so his youngest children could receive a British education.
Now though, the North London boy of Scottish heritage has been back for the better part of 10 years and looks like he’s getting swept up in the community spirit.
As for the age-old question “Have You Ever Seen The Rain”? By the look of things, it’s fair to say those potholes have… sorry.
