Did your city make the grade?
Self-praise is no praise and while the majority of us take immense pride in our local town, that sense of affection and love can take a variety of forms.
Londoners might adore the idea that they’re living in the bustling capital, while those from the countryside might revel in the fact that they’ve got some beautiful scenery and a tranquil life when compared to the hustle and bustle of city life.
Mancunians might take immense pride that their city gave birth to Oasis and The Stone Roses. You get the idea. Who the hell knows why people are proud of their city?
Anyways, on this note, it appears that people from South Yorkshire are very proud of their skills between the sheets because people from Barnsley have been voted as the best lovers in the UK.
When asked to rate their performance on a scale of 1-10, the cocky residents of Barnsley gave themselves a 9.5 out of ten.
The people of Hereford, Stoke and Lincoln weren’t a million miles of the top spot though – they all registered a 9/10 score. Elsewhere, Mancunians reckon that they’re pretty decent after voting themselves as an 8 out 10.
On the opposite end of the scale, the people of Stafford and Enfield, North London, gave themselves a poor score of 3/10. Well, they say that honesty is the best approach!
Things get much worse if you happen to be living in Belfast though because the locals only rated themselves as a 1/10.
The information was obtained by the dating website saucydates.com after they quizzed thousands of Britons. Congratulations to the people of Barnsley. It’s either they’re great lovers or great liars. (Cough, cough)
We’ll let you decide.
