People seem to be getting really into littering
One of the first things that most of us were taught as kids ‘don’t litter’. It’s one of those rudimentary lessons we learn early on, along with ‘don’t take candy from strangers’ and ‘look both ways before you cross the street’.
During lockdown, though, it appears that a large number of Brits have forgotten that littering is a bad thing. In public areas all around the country, people meeting up to have picnics and drinks with friends during lockdown have been leaving bag after bag of rubbish strewn across the ground.
Those people are idiots. Obviously. Thankfully, the members of a group called Rubbish Walks are not. They go around cleaning up after people who leave litter in the countryside. Do them a favour, and make sure they have less work to do.
All over the country, idiots have been leaving mounds of rubbish in public areas.
