Let’s make things perfectly clear, Storm Doris is not messing around.
With winds clocked at 94mph blasting through the UK on Thursday, it goes without saying that care is needed if you’re out and about.
But while such strong gusts should make people extra vigilant if venturing out into the open, many were only thinking about one of the storm’s consequences…
Bins.
Yep, in typically British style, people up and down the land didn’t seem to fazed by the genuine dangers posed by Storm Doris and were more bothered by the fact she’s decided to rock up on what was (for many of us) bin collection day…
Storm Doris had to come on bin day. It was like an obstacle course round my way
