“All dreams, even sex dreams, can be easily connected to things going on in your life,” says Ian Wallace, a dream psychologist, and author of The Top 100 Dreams: The Dreams That We All Have and What They Really Mean. “And every character in your dream represents a small snippet of your own personality.”
It’s more likely that the person you’re dreaming about in the nip actually possess some admirable trait that you recognize in yourself but haven’t yet fully developed.

Here’s what the most common dreams mean.
Sex with your boss
No need to avoid eye contact. A subconscious sex dream about your boss could mean that you’re ready to take on more responsibility in work.
“Sure, you may be sexually attracted to your boss,” says Wallace. “But if you’re having sex with him in a dream, your subconscious is probably becoming aware of your own ability to make decisions and act as a leader.”
Sex with with a good friend
This is a really common one but again nothing to worry about. It’s most likely that you’re dreaming about this person because they possess a quality you admire. And that’s likely a personality quality and not a physical one for clarification purposes. According to Wallace, your pal just has a talent your subconscious is working to develop.
Cheating on a partner or being cheated on
Many assume that this dream is a subconscious indication that a partner is cheating or has already cheated, but that’s not the case.
“When you dream that your partner is having an affair, it may mean that you’re losing faith in your own abilities or attractiveness,” says Wallace.
On the other hand, if you’re the cheat in the dream it’s likely that you’re worried that you’ve been a poor partner.
Sex with a family member
This is quite a common dream and can leave the dreamer feeling very confused and upset. Don’t worry, again it all comes down to admiration says, Wallace.
Sex with your ex
This is the only type of dream that warrants a red flag warns Wallace. If you’re over your ex and they suddenly appear naked in your dreams it could me that you’re unknowingly repeating bad habits from your failed relationship.
