This has restored our faith in humanity.
Twenty-one-year-old Nicole Sedgebeer missed the last train home from London Euston to Milton Keynes.
She was obviously distraught that she might be stuck in cold station all night long, until a man came to her rescue.
The man named ‘Mark’ was actually homeless. He had spotted Nicole on the verge of tears at the station when he went over to help her.
He took her to a 24 hour cafe nearby where where she would be warm and safe and bought her a cup of tea, leaving her there for the night.
Then he came back the next morning at 5am to walk her back to the station to finally get her train home.
Mark told her he didn’t want her to have to feel unsafe walking around the streets on her own at night and said “it was a father’s duty to get another man’s daughter home safe”.
