Literally the first thing your parents tell you not to do…

A TikTok creator has revealed a huge back tattoo of their boyfriend’s name – which they just so happened to get a week before they broke up.

Ashlyn Grace, who goes by they/them pronouns, showcased their latest tattoo that reads ‘ALEXANDER’ down their spine. Some divine spirit must be watching because not a week later, the couple had gone their separate ways.

The 21-year-old was left with a permanent reminder of the relationship and perhaps a rather sore sense of pride.

Stitched with Lizzo’s ‘Rumours’, which has become a viral sound on TikTok, Grace wrote: “I heard you got a tattoo of your exes [sic] name and then broke up a week later.”

Grace then lipsyncs along to ‘All the rumours are true, yeah”. The video has since gone viral, gaining 5.4m views.

In the next video, Grace informs fans: “Don’t be alarmed, it’s a little big.

“I don’t think there’s a smart way to do this but, yep, I understood the assignment.”

The TikToker then turns and lifts up their shirt which reveals the eye-widening tattoo.

If you need a moment to take it in and process the tattoo then we understand because TikTok users were also left shocked.

“Not the Times new Roman size 48 font, girl why,” wrote one person.

Another joked: “no you’re good, barely noticed it.”

Another commented: “The tattoo artist who did this needs to be put in federal prison.”

Another user suggested: “Just make your whole back a word search.”

Ashlyn is apparently up for this idea, replying: “Hold up…I love this idea.”

So next time kids, let’s stay away from tattoos of loved ones because you might not always love them.
