Well deserved.
Titanic Belfast has been named as Europe’s leading tourist attraction at the prestigious World Travel Awards in Sardinia.
It is the second year in a row that a tourist attraction on the island of Ireland has been given such a prestigious honour after the Guinness Storehouse – which was nominated once again this year – won the award in 2015.
As well as the Guinness Storehouse, Titanic Belfast fought off competition from iconic landmarks throughout the continent such as the Acropolis in Greece, Buckingham Palace in London, La Sagrada Familia in Spain, Ribeira do Porto in Portugal, the Colosseum in Rome and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
