Many years ago, in a time when trainers were sh*t, one man had a vision.
Scribbled down on a piece of paper was the first ever design for the iconic Nike Air Max trainer.
Now, 30 years on, that dream has become a reality. JOE would like to welcome the Nike Air Max Zero to the world. What a little beaut it is.
We couldn’t be prouder if it was our own first born son.
Lighter than air….
(H/T Nike)
Designer Tinker Hatfield came up with the design in 1985. The ideas and concept were what went into creating the Nike Air Max 1 – but the original design never saw the light of day – until now.
“The Nike Air Max Zero was the first step. The one before the 1,” a release on Nike’s website reads.
Now that’s a story.
So when can we get our hands – or feet – in a pair of these sneaks I hear you cry?
Well, it looks like they could be released on March 26th for a cool $150.
See you outside Foot Locker.
