A Fox News anchorman had an unfortunate axe-cident during a special broadcast, knocking a marching band drummer off his feet.
Pete Hegseth was taking part in a lumberjack challenge that seemed simple enough – all he had to do was throw the weapon at a mounted target five metres away.
However, he aimed too high, a charge you could probably also level at the producers who decided the stunt would be a safe enough idea.

Fortunately the drummer, Jeff Prosperie, escaped with only minor injuries.
He revealed in a Facebook post that he is “Focusing on full physical and emotional recovery”.
