Beards are as dirty as toilets, apparently, according to an American scientist who knows far more than we’re comfortable with about faecal matter.
While Dr. John Golobic said that the level of bacteria in the average beard could not make you sick, he recommended keeping your hand away from your mouth after you’ve touched the bushy mass.
