FFS Abul.
We all say things we later regret after a drink or two. The problem with modern technology is that this can now involve anyone in the world courtesy of Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and text messages.
Quite often it can involve amorous behaviour. A perfect example is this poor woman who tried it on with Gatwick Airport in the early hours of the morning…
Of course the Airport didn’t reply, because that would have been wholly inappropriate and somewhat weird. But that doesn’t seem to bother everyone, it transpires.
Brighton woman Lucy D’Agostino was out on the town, letting her hair down and enjoying a few beverages with her best mates, as you do.
It wasn’t long before she drunkenly picked up her phone and decided to have a look at Twitter to start a chat with someone. Awkwardly it was the Boohoo customer service account that caught her attention.
Lucy decided to share all her drunken worries and concerns with the account, including her foot pain and whether or not she should get a kebab…all vitally important at 2am of course!
The person manning Boohoo’s account was a chap named Abul. Rather than ignoring her messages or politely nipping them in the bud, he was more than happy to partake in some weirdly awkward flirting, complete with kisses.
Probably nursing a hangover along with a good dose of embarrassment at her texts to Boohoo the night before, Lucy was probably a little relieved to see that Boohoo didn’t hold it against her the following morning.
As for Abul, he was replaced by Nikki. The budding romance was over.
