Woman shocked after boss accidentally sends employee trash texts about her

It doesn’t get more awkward than the accidental text

A woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing screenshots of her boss accidentally sending her a text trashing her for calling in sick.

Connie Waters messaged her boss after waking up feeling sick, full of the flu and potentially suffering from covid – and rather than giving an understanding reply, her employer was busy venting to her husband.

Only problem is, she sent it to her Waters instead:

@conniewaters31 That time my boss accidentally texted me instead of my coworker to talk shit ? #inasillygoodymood #goodday #iquit #covid #work #exboss #messytok ♬ I Hate U – SZA

As you can see, after asking her to re-test and bring in a negative result the day after, she quickly turns to slagging her off to he partner: “For fucks sake!!!! Already trying to get time off work. Her FB pics over the weekend didn’t look like she was sick.”

To make matters worse, Waters calling in sick was the sensible decision, as the next day she tested positive for coronavirus and the reason she had “missed so many days” beforehand was because she had suffered a miscarriage.

Naturally, her 175,000+ followers wanted to know what happened next and, in particular, how she responded.

Beyond insisting that she was in fact ill, she quickly replied: “Good luck finding somebody else to fill that position because I’ll be there tomorrow to get my things and that’s IT.”

The brutal boss then decides to double down and defend herself, apologising that she shouldn’t have seen it but reiterating that she had “missed a lot of work”.

She eventually came crawling back, begging her to “please call me” as she wanted to apologise but Waters reveals she had heard her colleagues talking behind her back on several occasions and had simply had enough.
