You can rent this London pad for pocket change, but you’ll need some mad skills.
Thirty-two-year-old business analyst Adam Mughal has used his business smarts to come up with a pretty sweet deal for everyone involved.
He has advertised a “large, clean double room” in Stratford, East London for less than the price of a coffee.
The catch? You must be a talented web developer.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, the shrewd business man explained:
“I don’t have the resources or the budget to hire a full-time web developer but this opportunity allows someone to stay in London where accommodation isn’t cheap and work for me part-time.
“I work in the city full-time as well so I thought this was the only real benefit I could offer to people.”
The unique arrangement seems to have struck a chord, with Adam receiving over 1,000 applications since posting the advertisement on Easy Roommate.
He said: “I have been bombarded with emails, it has just been crazy. Maybe this has opened a Pandora’s Box for people to offer accommodation in exchange for skills.”
