When we’re heading home after a heavy night out, it can sometimes be hard to make out the different apps on our phone.
We’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve tried to order an Uber, only to open Facebook or WhatsApp or Tinder out of force of habit.
Thankfully, that might not be as much of a problem in future, as Facebook is letting you book a ride without leaving its Messenger app.
You’ll be able to select the ‘transportation in Messenger’ option to book an Uber, while ride-sharing service Lyft will be added as an option in the new year.
Unfortunately it’s only live in the United States at present, though if it’s successful we expect the option to be made available on these shores too.
