‘Honestly the most disgusting behaviour’
In a video shared to Twitter, a customer at Asda is claiming that staff “tried to kick her out” for being “basically naked” in the supermarket.
The woman, named only as Jaiah, journeyed to Asda in London wearing a white top, joggers and a hoodie when a member of staff confronted her.

In the video shared to Twitter, she can be heard discussing her outfit with said member of staff at the Isle of Dogs branch.
The employee can be heard saying: “We can see your body almost. The manager is coming right now.”
Though Jaiah claims the employee says she doesn’t respect herself, a man replies: “It’s not because you don’t respect yourself, we have a policy in Asda.”
Jaiah wrote: “So tonight in Asda, Isle of Dogs, I was told by an employee that I wasn’t wearing enough clothes, I wasn’t respecting myself, that I’m basically naked and I shouldn’t be in there.
“Honestly the most disgusting behaviour.”
The supermarket has since offered an apology to the customer while also saying they are investigating the matter internally.
A spokesperson said: “As soon as we were made aware of this incident we launched an investigation within the store.
“We have been in contact with Jaiah to explain that this is not our policy and to apologise for the negative experience they had on this occasion.”
The supermarket chain also replied to the initial video where they wrote: “Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
