We’re taking this one with a pinch of salt until further details emerge, but Arsène Wenger’s time at Arsenal could finally be coming to an end.
The longest-serving manager in English football has been under more pressure than at any time in recent years, and fans and the media alike seem to believe an exit this summer could be the best move for all concerned.
Wenger himself had been the stumbling block, but now signs are emerging that he may have agreed to call time on his 20-year spell in North London.

According to reports from Italy, shared by beIN Sports‘ Tancredi Palmeri, Wenger has ‘informally’ told his players that he will be leaving the Emirates Stadium when his contract comes to an end this summer.
The Frenchman has long been a popular figure, but many supporters seem keen to thank him for his service and move on, so as to avoid him tarnishing a legacy which includes several Premier League titles and multiple domestic trophies.
The reports come on the eve of Arsenal’s Champions League second-leg tie against Bayern Munich, with the Gunners needing a minor miracle to overturn a 5-1 deficit and make the quarter-finals of the competition.
Wenger previously confirmed he would be in management next season, but seemed to leave the door open for a stint away from Arsenal.
