???????????
Craig Bellamy had a very strange assessment of Vincent Kompany yesterday after the Manchester City captain scored to help them overcome Arsenal and lift the League Cup.
Bellamy, who played with the Belgian defender for a season and a half, stated that he knows him to be a deeply driven and ambitious man. So ambitious, in fact, that he is, according to the Welshman, “planning to take over President of Africa”.
Interesting take on Kompany… pic.twitter.com/noCiDRLhYb

I have some questions.
Does Craig Bellamy currently think that there is a President of Africa? Or does he think Africa is a country?
Does he, having actually met him and worked with him for over a year, know that Vincent Kompany is Belgian?
If he doesn’t, does he then think that Kompany has the requisite charisma and political nous to rule over the world’s second largest continent in terms of both population and land mass if it were to have a single leader?
In Craig Bellamy’s mind, does his comment make any kind of sense, at all, on any level?
The answer to at least one of these questions is yes. Very worrying.
