Perhaps Harry’s not that much of a rebel after all?
Forget what you heard. Harry Kane might not be leaving Tottenham after all.
For a good 24 hours or so, it seemed inevitable, didn’t it? Kane, fed up of Spurs Spursing their way from one trophyless season to the next, was being very, very strongly linked with a move to Manchester City, who were reportedly extremely confident of getting their man.
Having not turned in for training on Monday morning, surely this would only end one way.
Except, no. At least not yet, anyway.
Not even an hour ago, we told you that Kane hadn’t shown up for training for a second day on the trot and wasn’t planning on showing his face at Hotspur Way until he was allowed to go and say his goodbyes.
Now, a fresh twist to the already-quite-tedious transfer saga (and it very much is a saga now, by the way)…
Harry Kane will return to training at Spurs this week after all.
Not only that – lol – he also seems to be of the opinion that things have been drastically blown out of proportion.
Latest development is that Kane now planning on returning to #THFC training by the end of the week.

Numerous reports claim Kane will be back training with his club before the weekend. His future is still unresolved, but the main takeaway here is that his stance appears to have mellowed significantly given it seemed he was willing to take the nuclear option to force a move away just a matter of hours minutes ago.

So there you have it. Perhaps Harry’s not that much of a rebel after all? Maybe this was all one big misunderstanding? Or maybe – just maybe – he tried his best to force the club he signed a six-year deal with to let him leave, was given an emphatic no from Daniel Levy and is now taking tentative steps to preserve his legendary status with the club’s fans, just in case he does have to stay put after all?
Either way, we doubt this is the last twist this one will take. Buckle in.
