The Nevada State Athletic Commission can expect a greater interest than usual in their November hearing.
The October meeting is believed to be too soon for the commission to fully review the post-fight melee which marred UFC 229 on Saturday night so we will likely have to wait until next month to hear the punishments that will be handed out to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor and the pair’s respective teams.
The NSAC is reportedly planning to keep Nurmagomedov’s entire $2 million purse after he jumped out of the Octagon to confront McGregor’s teammate, Dillon Danis, after submitting ‘The Notorious’ in the fourth round of their grudge match.
UFC President Dana White has claimed that the members of Nurmagomedov’s team who attacked McGregor in the cage on Saturday night would never fight in the UFC again but that may change given Nurmagomedov’s harsh ultimatum on Thursday afternoon.

Nurmagomedov has told the NSAC that they “can keep my money that you are withholding. You are pretty busy with that, I hope it won’t get stuck in your throat. We have defended our honor and this is the most important thing. We intend to go to the end.”
It has since emerged that the commission is also reportedly withholding the $200,000 owed to Nurmagomedov’s controversial manager, Ali Abdelaziz, due to issues regarding child support.
Journalist Mike Russell, who is the go-to authority on Abdelaziz’s past after engaging in several investigative reports into Nurmagomedov’s long-time manager, has claimed that the NSAC is keeping Abdelaziz’s 10 per cent cut of his client’s purse.
I am told that the family of Ali Abdelaziz's son Noah have contacted NSAC in regards to his estranged father's outstanding child support arrears. The commission has Abdelaziz's $200k cut locked up with Khabib's purse. Interesting Mexican standoff shaping up in NV.

Fans’ curiosity was piqued in the build-up to UFC 229, when McGregor proved that he’d done his homework by referencing Abdelaziz’s estranged son Noah at the first pre-fight press conference.
“I know a lot about you as well, you mad rat,” McGregor roared in Abdelaziz’s direction following his first face-off with Nurmagomedov. “I know a lot about you as well. You keep your mouth shut, kid.
“Let me take my picture. How’s Noah? Shut your mouth. Never speak about me, ever in your life. Watch yourself around me because you’ll be out of here quick.”
According to Russell’s reporting, Noah is Abdelaziz’s son who was allegedly abandoned when Abdelaziz became an informant for the New York Police Department.
FYI, Noah is the son Ali abandoned in Colorado when he started as an informant for the NYPD and who he is $50k behind in child support for. @TheNotoriousMMA does his homework when preparing for war.
