It’s often difficult to tell what’s real in the world of professional wrestling.
WWE writers put a lot of effort into their storylines and sometimes commit so much that the lines between reality and entertainment get blurred.
And sometimes WWE writers just take advantage of some real-life hostility and translate it to the ring (see the 2005 love triangle between Lita, Matt Hardy and Edge).
The WWE look set to invest a lot of time, hype and promotion into Ronda Rousey, the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion who made her professional wrestling debut at WrestleMania 34, and we can expect her to be involved in some high-profile plots in the coming years.
So it’s very possible that Travis Browne’s hotel altercation with WWE superstar Alicia Fox will turn into a storyline down the line.

Rousey’s husband Browne was filmed engaging in a heated argument with Fox, who was scheduled to compete in the Women’s Battle Royale later that night, with Fox branding the UFC heavyweight “rude”.
It was quite an aggressive conversation but Fox quickly packed it in when she was told that she was being filmed.
Fox was pulled from the Battle Royale with just hours before the match was set to take place but the WWE claimed that the incident with Browne had nothing to do with her withdrawal, claiming that she was simply not cleared to take to the ring.
