Excitedly firing up their filming equipment and scribbling down script ideas, Arsenal Fan TV today begun preparations for a reaction video to an Arsenal defeat to BATE Borisov in the near future.
The Premier League club were drawn against the Belarusian champions in the Europa League earlier today, in a group which also contains German side Köln and Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.
While many Gunners supporters were reportedly disappointed with the draw, as well as the team’s presence in the competition, members of the popular Arsenal Fan TV YouTube are said to have immediately got to work on the video which will be released to the public mere minutes after they inevitably lose 1-0 away to Borisov.
The video, which AFTV host Robbie believes will be their biggest yet, is set to feature an all-star cast including Mr. DT, Heavy D, Troopz, Moh, Bully, Claude and Kelechi and is expected to capture the fans’ anger and utter frustration perfectly.
“This is gonna be huge!”
Speaking in between script readings for the hotly-anticipated video, AFTV regular Mr. DT expressed his excitement at creating the video.
“This is gonna be huge! It’s gonna be one of our most embarrassing defeats ever and the fans are gonna be furious. As soon as we saw the draw we knew this would be one of our biggest ever videos,” said the excited popular YouTuber.
“Our focus is really just making sure we sound as angry as possible, and really show people how we feel about the loss and the team.”
Robbie, however, struck a more considered tone, and revealed that while he is looking forward to the video, he and his cohorts must be careful to strike just the right note with their fury.
“When making videos like this, we must be careful not to go overboard, or seem like we’re faking our response. That’s especially true of a major defeat like the one we expect to occur against BATE. It can’t appear manufactured or premeditated, so we’ll ensure we throw a bit of improv in there too. Hopefully we lose as a result of some awful defending or an own goal, that sort of thing always makes for a better end product,” he said.
Robbie and his team later went on to say that while they are hoping for a controversial defeat, they will reluctantly prepare a video in the event of an unlikely victory for Arsene Wenger’s side.
