David Beckham is not happy.
The Daily Mail ran a story questioning whether the former England captain and his wife Victoria should allow their daughter to still use a dummy at the age of four.
Beckham has responded via his personal Instagram account and made his annoyance towards the tabloid newspaper very clear.
The doting father was very reasonable in his retort:
“Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts? Everybody who has children knows that when they aren’t feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it’s a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people’s children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent…”
It’s understandable for someone to feel angered when their parenting skills are questioned, and given that this was done in a very public manner, we can only praise Beckham for his dignified response.
