His tweeting led to him losing the job, but he’s still tweeting…
Elon Musk was forced to step down as the chairman of Tesla over the weekend following a string of controversial tweets.
One of his claims on Twitter in August was that he was looking at taking Tesla private and had “funding secured” – with it subsequently being revealed there was no funding in place, leading to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission taking action against him.
As part of a settlement agreed with the commission for that tweet, Elon was made to pay a penalty of $20 million as well as agreeing to step down as Tesla’s chairman. That controversy also followed him facing legal action from a British diver who played a major role in rescuing the 12 soccer players and their coach trapped in a Thailand cave after baselessly referring to him as a ‘pedo’ on the social media site.
Given said controversies you might have thought Musk would be keen to keep a low profile, especially with him having lost his job over his cavalier remarks. But not Musk.
He has now shared Naughty by Nature’s Hip-hop song “O.P.P.” to his 22 million followers, adding the caption: “Naughty by Nature” and a winking emoji.

The message in his first response is pretty clear: he’s not changing his tune anytime soon.
