Best game of 2018? From the looks of this, potentially…
Believe it or not, it has been eight-and-a-half years since the last time we redeemed the red and the dead, and while it isn’t as if Rockstar Games have been overly busy in that time – one GTA game, and L.A. Noire, and that is pretty much it – we’re not complaining, because you can’t rush greatness.
The same seems to go for those who plan on playing the new game too, with rumours of the main mission alone taking anywhere between 60 and 80 hours to complete, and that is mostly without touching a single one of the secondary side missions.
Everything we’ve seen for the game so far has been nothing short of spectacularly beautiful, and this final launch trailer to celebrate the week of release is really pushing the narrative drive behind the whole thing.
Fans of the sprawling crime epic of GTAV should feel suitably happy here, as it looks like we’ll be getting caught up in another series in violent double crosses and nail-biting heists.
And that is all without what looks like a re-enactment of that scene from The Revenant.
Red Dead Redemption II will be available on PS4 and Xbox One from Friday 26 October.
