It has probably been Britain’s biggest controversy for a long while.
Nope, not governments spying on your iPhone, not the Great British Bake Off and not even Ronnie Pickering’s baffling road rage video.
It’s the bloody 5p charge for plastic bags, which recently came into effect across England. Denizens of the internet were pretty mad that they might be charged five extra pennies for the luxury of not having to struggle home with armfuls of cat food and Lambrini.
But where the law is concerned, Greater Manchester Police’s Stretford branch want to make it fair for everyone. They’re sticklers for justice.
So the fact that your friendly community narcotics retailer might not be observing the 5p bag charge sprang them into action.
If your local dealer isn’t charging you £10.05 for that ten bag of skunk, they want to know about it.
It’s good to see they’ve not lost their sense of humour…
Is your drug dealer not conforming to the law ? Is he NOT charging you 5 pence for your snap bag ? Call us and let us know
