EA Sports confirm there will be no FIFA 21 demo

There will be no FIF 21 demo, EA Sports have confirmed - the game developers say they will spend more time making the final game the best it can be

EA Sports have confirmed there will be no FIFA demo released this year, with the game developers choosing to prioritise making the final product as good as it can be.

EA announced the news in a tweet, saying: “We aren’t releasing a demo for FIFA 21. Instead we’ve made the decision to focus our development team’s time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles. We look forward to EA PLAY members jumping in 10 days from now and launching the game Oct 9.”

Usually, a demo is released some time around a month before the full game’s release date, giving gamers a chance to get used to the new gameplay and get a taste of some new features.

They are usually limited to short matches and only give players a selection of around six teams (always PSG). All in all, they’re fun for about an hour, but only because you’re getting bored of the previous game.

This year, FIFA players won’t be wasting their time perfecting every skill move in the book with Kylian Mbappé before the new game is released, because EA have got their priorities in order. With FIF 21 set for release on both current and next gen consoles, you can understand the decision.

Given how many dedicated FIFA players seem to complain about every single feature of the game they play day in, day out, you;d expect this news to be welcomed by the gaming community.
