Just when you thought politics couldn’t get any more ‘street’.
Then this went and happened.
Conservative councillor Zahid Shah, who is a massive fan of Tupac and Wu Tang Clan, thought he would lay down some rhymes to inspire the young ‘uns to vote.
The 47-year-old filmed himself around the streets of Wolverhampton, er, spitting some lyrics (is that what the kids say these days?)
Here’s a few lyrics from the Midlands’ very own Biggie Smalls:
“Times were great growing up in this zone / Which had a great multicultural tone.
“Today things have really changed / The area has become deranged.
“Young blood please don’t waste your vote / Jump on the Councillor Shah Conservative boat.”
And here’s us thinking Ed Miliband was the only one putting the ‘G’ in Government with this Skepta remix video.
