Frank Lampard married his fiancée Christine Bleakley in London at the weekend and they chose not to sell intimate details of their big day to a glossy magazine.
So we’re sure the former Chelsea midfielder and his TV presenter bride will be thrilled to hear Piers Morgan shared the highlights to the public on Monday.
Morgan, who was there when the couple met and first clapped eyes on one another at the Pride of Britain awards in 2009, revealed that Frank was very tearful during his wedding speech.

He then went on to reveal what Lampard, 37, said verbatim when he first met Christine, 36.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Morgan said: “I said a few words I offered to because I was there when they met at the Pride of Britain Awards with Frank and Kevin Pietersen.
“Christine came into the bar and Frank said, ‘Who’s that? She looks a bit of a sort’, which I think is East End for ‘She’s attractive.’ I said, ‘She’s way above your league mate.’
“Anyway, next thing, they get together. He said in his speech he was away playing for England and they spoke every night for four hours and just fell madly in love in one week.”
