It’s time to get excited, GTA fans
The GTA remastered details have been confirmed, with fans able to get excited after being provided with a launch date and first images.
Rockstar Games recently announced that they would be releasing ‘Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’ later this year.
The announcement came in the same month which marked the 20-year anniversary since the release of Grand Theft Auto III, one of the most popular games of all-time alongside fellow titles ‘Grand Theft Auto: Vice City’, and ‘Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’.
It has been confirmed that GTA remastered is set to be released on 11 November 2021 on the PS5, XSX, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with a physical release on 7 December 2021.
The remastered series – which has been adapted for modern systems using the Unreal Engine – features new lighting and environmental upgrades, high resolution textures and increased draw distance.
Additionally, it incorporates 4K 60 FPS support on the PS5 and XSX as well as NVIDIA DLSS on PC.
A trailer which shows a comparison between the old game and the remastered version has been released.
