While we love our iPhones and would find it difficult to manage without them, the battery life is a serious bugbear.
In fact, sometimes it leaves us downright p*ssed off. And we don’t say that lightly…
There are loads of various tips and tricks to manage the problem, but there’s one ridiculously simple piece of advice that some people seem to miss.
Even the team at JOE somehow missed this one – with plenty of our writers spending more time crying about battery life than working out this obvious solution.
There’s an option on your phone entitled ‘Low Power Mode’ and enabling it can apparently extend your battery life by up to four hours.
Switching this on stops your phone lighting up when you get a message and basically cuts out any visual effects, allowing your battery to last longer.
This is an option available to people using iOS9 and turning it on is easy – simply select Settings, then Battery, then Low Power Mode and hopefully you’ll see a noticeable difference in the life of your iPhone battery. Magic!
