A California-based start-up has created the FoldiMate, a robotic laundry-folding machine tailor-made for people who just hate foldin’.
“FoldiMate is like having a friend that folds the laundry for you,” the company explains on its website.

Alright, it’s not the nicest-looking machine you’ve ever seen. But it will be equipped to fold, steam, soften and even perfume your laundry in seconds, so you never have to again.
The company says it takes around 10 seconds to fold each item and can hold between 15 and 20 pieces of clothing at a time.

FoldiMate is still in development, but it’s set to be released in 2017 and is expected to cost in the region of £500.
