Cleaning your room is never a task to look forward to and messy bedrooms are a very common trait among teenagers and, well, people of all ages really.
But this story from Julia Pechar may indeed motivate you to finally clean your untidy room.
Pechar, an 18-year-old from Nebraska in the United States, is one owner of a messy bedroom. While that in itself is a minor crime, she certainly didn’t deserve the painful treatment she received one evening while walking around.
Julia was sitting on her bed and watching Netflix when she hopped up, running to get her microwave popcorn when she accidentally stood on a plug. But rather than it bruise her foot, the plug went UP her sole and impaled her foot.
Speaking to BuzzFeed, Julia spoke of how sore her foot was when the incident happened:
“Right before I screamed for my mom to come rip it out of me, I crawled to my phone to take a picture.
“For all of the people demanding blood, yes, it did bleed…a lot. It still is.”

Not one to let the pain consume her, Julia was quick to warn others of the danger of not being able to see your bedroom floor.
