We’ve got a very sudden dose of The Fear.
This video from the foyer of an office building in Istanbul during a recent rain storm has given us a serious case of the heebie-jeebies.
The weather got so bad in the Turkish capital that it turned the revolving doors of a HSBC building into a deadly spinning machine, spilling glass all over the place while workers scramble to get out of its path.
Terrifying.
Translated to English, the caption reads: ‘HSBC General Directorate … # rain and storm violence is incredible !!!’

Freak storms are not new to Istanbul, and this video from the BBC shows a crane toppling over and causing an explosion.

Trees have been felled as inclement weather grips the country, with flooded streets making it difficult for pedestrians to get around.
