Nineteen people are dead and up to 45 injured following a knife attack in Sagamihara, outside Tokyo.
A knife-wielding man attacked a facility for the disabled and then turned himself in, police said.
At least nineteen people are believed to have been killed in the attack and dozens more injured, with four in a critical condition.
Various Japanese media outlets are reporting that the attacker was 26 years old and a former member of staff at the facility.

Locals claim to have seen a man in black clothes holding a weapon in the grounds of the Tsukui Yamayuri Garden.
The man is believed to have escaped from the facility after the attack before turning himself over to police.
A motive is yet to be established for the killings. We will bring you more news as it breaks.
