A 92-year-old man on a mobility scooter was rescued by police after accidentally ending up on a dual carriageway.
The pensioner made his way on to the road in Crawley, West Sussex and was spotted by the driver of a passing vehicle.
Thankfully, the kind-hearted motorist stopped to help the man and then alerted police.
PC Katie Breeds of Sussex Police said that the man way “very confused” and “didn’t really know where he was” when police managed to reach him.
Police returned the OAP (and his scooter) to his warden-assisted accommodation.
