Despite the fact that the worst effects of Storm Elanor have passed, temperatures are set to plummet this weekend with heavy rain and gale-force winds approaching. In fact, in parts of Scotland, the temperature is expected set to drop as low as -10C on Saturday night.

At present, there’s a yellow weather warning in place for the following areas; Central, Tayside & Fife, Grampian, Highlands & Eilean Siar, North East England, Orkney & Shetland, SW Scotland, Lothian Borders, Strathclyde.
