Just like they cook it in Naples
Aldi’s popular BBQ pizza oven is returning to the middle aisle of its stores this summer, ahead of a season of al fresco dining.
As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, many will be looking to have friends and family round in gardens across the country. And just in case you begin to get bored of barbecued sausages and burgers, Aldi may have the answer.
From 9 May online and 16 May in store, Aldi’s popular pizza oven will return. One of these is probably as close to achieving a restaurant-standard pizza at home as you could get. And at £40 you can’t really argue can you.
The store describes the oven as “made of ceramic stone with an easy-to-clean stainless steel interior” and a “surefire way to keep everyone happy.”
The ovens will hit the shelves just in the time for the next step of the government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
From 17 May, the majority of outdoor social contact rules will be lifted. Whilst gatherings of more than 30 people will still be illegal, people will be able to mix in groups of six indoors . The government will also review social contact rules for families.
The famous Aldi special buys are also likely to provide more products you never knew you needed, to take those outdoor gatherings to the next level.
How about a cocktail shaker to get those drinks perfect? Or a classic Gardenline Hanging Egg Chair for £150? It’s not like there’s been much else to spend our money on over the past few months.
