That charming wit…
Boris Johnson made a joke referencing OJ Simpson’s murder trial as he struggled to put on a pair of gloves at a vaccination centre.
Visiting a vaccination centre in Cwmbran, South Wales, the prime minister said “I feel like OJ Simpson” as he tried to squeeze into a pair of blue disposable gloves.
Johnson was referencing the murder trial of former NFL player OJ Simpson, who also struggled to fit his hands into a pair of gloves – a key piece of evidence in his acquittal.
“If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit,” Simpson told the jury in 1995.
