Prime Minister David Cameron has spoken out for the first time about allegations that heĀ “inserted a private part of his anatomy” into a dead pig’s mouth.
“A very specific denial was made a week ago and Iāve nothing to add to that,” the PM said, though there has been no suggestion that any legal action will be taken against Lord Ashcroft for the allegations, set to be included in the Lord’s forthcoming book.
The alleged incident is supposed to have happened during the PM’s student days, as part of an initiation into Oxford University’s Piers Gaveston Society.
Lord Ashcroft hasĀ previouslyĀ claimed that photographic evidence exists which would cast doubt on the denial, though this has yet to emerge.
