Elon Musk has photoshopped his face onto loads of The Rock’s pictures for some reason

Totally normal thing for an adult man to do

Elon Musk is an objectively weird human being. Cast your eye across his Twitter and Instagram accounts and its strewn with his musings on everything from the world’s transport problems, to inventing what equated to a steel coffin in his attempts to aid the rescue of the Thai schoolboys that were trapped in a cave.

Musk, a man who made his fortune as the co-founder of PayPal before going into such ventures as Tesla and SpaceX, uses social media in the manner we assume Richie Rich would have, had he ever lived to see the internet become what it is today.

RIP Richie. You were too pure for this world.

On Wednesday, Elon showcased his latest project. No, it is not another flying car with a mannequin in it, or a special kind of spaghetti with extra round edges.

No, it is a series of photographs of his face photoshopped onto the body of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. These photographs are accompanied on his Twitter page by the caption “Yeah, I lift a little …”

To be honest, we’re not entirely sure what to make of all of this.

The first thing to say would be, surely, if Elon did in fact “life a little”, then why wouldn’t he simply post photos of his won body rather than try and take credit for The Rock’s jacked body which took years to sculpt into the stage it is currently at.

Secondly and perhaps most pertinently, what the fuck is a grown man – a 47-year-old – doing digitally placing his head on the body of another man?

We’ll probably never know the answer to either question, so maybe we’re just before off enjoying these extremely weird images instead.
